Welcome to the creepy cute world of KimoKawaii. Here you will find the home page of Joshua Normal, artist, programmer, amateur absinthe brewer, pirate, and all around modern scoundrel. Look around, enjoy my works, enjoy the strange things I find around the net, and most of all enjoy yourself.
Bionic Commando was one of my favorite games as a child. The new version doesn’t really have me too excited yet. However, a redone version of the original makes me so happy and I can’t wait for it to hit xbox live.
NBC’s remake of “American Gladiators” muscled to a strong start on Sunday. The amateur athletic tournament, based on the early 1990s series, delivered the highest ratings among adults 18 to 49 of any new show this season on any network - NYT
I was having such a good week too. Then you had to go and remind me what complete jackass morons the general population of the United States are. In almost 20 years nothing has changed or evolved in this country. We are watching the same things we were watching when I was a kid. Worse than that though is the fact that people my age are watching the same thing they were watching when they were kids. You know, I looked back at some of the shows I enjoyed as a child and realized what horrible crap they were. This shows an evolution of my taste. I would like to think it was a positive evolution but I won’t argue that point since it’s rather subjective. I think most people would agree that as you age tastes and perceptions should change as your experiences and knowledge grow.
THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL WATCHING THE SAME SHOW INVOLVING MONKEYS HITTING EACH OTHER WITH STICKS FOR ENTERTAINMENT?
Really, how far off are we from “Ow! My balls!” being a reality.
I could blame this all on the writers. Maybe I will since this is the crap we will be stuck watching until they come off strike. That doesn’t explain why anyone actually tuned in to watch this crap. So I can only blame the TV watching public for this. Were you all just that bored. Couldn’t find anything better to do on a Sunday night. Next week try picking up a book instead America, and try to find one with more words than pictures.
