I shot that last night and Emiko uploaded it for me. She is getting more video up while I am working on the photos. I was there, but watching these videos it’s still a surreal thing to see.
Well, its all over. They Might be Giants would be proud. The foreheads won. Its seems that the furs didn’t have what it took to bring down the combined power of the Federation and the Klingon Empire.
The trekkies may have taken home the trophie, but for me the furs were the winners. They seemed to have the most fun, and they were way more into the spirit of the night.
Pictures will be up tomorrow. I will be doing a full write-up for submission to ectoplasmosis as well.
It was a good night. Now its time for dinner and the club.
The lanes are closing, the last ball is rolling down the lane. Someone is tallying up the scores. The furs have been sitting covetously close to the trophy all night.
Now all that’s left is to see who comes out on top. Has the five year mission to explore the far reaches of space improved their game? Do the furries’ tails give them the advantage they need to win? Is someone actually tallying the points?
Does anyone involved really care who won, or is it enough that by tomorrow their pictures will be all over the internet?
They are still throwing balls at pins. No telling who is making progress. I don’t even know if it matters.
Fark TV is getting chastised by the press coordinator. Seems they are looking to make a scene out of this. I’ve was talking to one of the directors for fur weekend atlanta when he got called over to help put them in their place.
This is a great laugh so far. At the moment I don’t know which is more surreal, furries bowling or klingons in bowling shoes.
So far its been a quiet evening. No Klingons have started stabbing furries and the wolves seem to be keeping their teeth out of the plump trekie meats.
Well, the foreheads have a clear advantage on the lanes over the furs. Guess no one told them it would help to be able to see the pins. Plus there are no balls in the place bored out wide enough for fur fingers. The advantage of numbers is being evened out by physical imparements.
if the main qualification for who wins this match was who has the most people furries would beat the trekkies hands down. Or would it be paws down?
There are only a handfull of trekkies around and most of them are in street clothes. The full fur suited furries outnumber them almost two to one right now. Most of the furs outfits are way more impressive anyway. One even has blush response. It’s actually very impressive.
Seems all the media attentions getting the furries excited. They have started rubbing and scratching on each other in what I can only imagine is some sort of pre-mating ritual. I can only imagine what will happen once they actually get around to bowling and the heat of competition gets their blood going.
